Jetlago LLC ("Jetlago," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit jetlago.com or contact us about employment (collectively, the "Site").

This is a careers site. Its only interactive feature is a form for people interested in working with us, so this policy is short and specific on purpose.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you give us

We collect the information you voluntarily enter into our contact form:

Your name, phone number, and email address
The city you are based in, if you provide it
The role you are interested in, whether you hold a Class A CDL, your years of driving experience, and when you prefer to be reached
Anything you choose to write in the message field
Any document you choose to attach — typically a résumé — along with its filename and file type. Attaching a document is optional and nothing in our process requires one.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your Social Security number, driver's license number, date of birth, or financial information through this form or inside an attached document. If we need that information later in the hiring process, we will collect it through a secure channel with your written consent.

2.2 Website analytics

We do not run website analytics on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag, and no cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not measure which pages you visit or how long you stay.

2.3 Server logs

Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs that may include IP addresses and request details for security and operational purposes. These are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.

Evaluate your fit for open roles at Jetlago

4. Disclosure of Your Information

Your submission is visible to:

Jetlago's hiring team: the people directly involved in screening and hiring
Service providers: the vendors listed in section 4.1, who process information on our behalf
Legal requirements: where required by law, court order, subpoena, or a governmental or regulatory authority, including DOT and FMCSA requirements
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets

4.1 Service Providers We Use

We keep the list of third parties with access to your information deliberately short. As of the date above, they are:

Vercel: hosts this website and maintains server logs
Resend: delivers contact form submissions, and any document you attach, to our inbox by email

We do not store applications in a third-party database, and we do not share enquiries submitted through this site with recruiters, lead-generation services, driver databases, or any other third party beyond those listed above.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit, secure access controls, and limiting access to the people who need it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain applicant information for as long as needed to evaluate your candidacy and to satisfy our record-keeping obligations under applicable employment, EEO, and DOT regulations. When those periods end, we delete it. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so except where we are legally required to keep it.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information:

Access: request a copy of what we hold about you
Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion: request deletion, subject to our legal retention obligations
Portability: request your data in a portable format

8. Cookies and Tracking

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we run no analytics that use cookies. That is why you will not see a cookie consent banner here. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or cross-site tracking of any kind, and we do not respond differently to Do Not Track signals because we do not track you in the first place.

9. Background, Driving Record, and DOT Checks

If you move forward in our hiring process, we will separately ask for your written consent before running any motor vehicle record, background, or DOT compliance check, and before requesting records from previous employers as required by federal regulation. Those checks are governed by their own disclosures and authorization forms under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable DOT rules, not by this policy. Nothing you submit through this website authorizes any such check.

10. Text Messages

If you check the consent box on our form, you agree that we may contact you by text message about employment opportunities. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us directly by phone or email. Opting out of texts will not affect your candidacy.

11. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for job seekers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States and our service providers store information in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed there, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13. California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to limit use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
